THE FIRST STEP

This First Forum was designed to kickstart the Amazon Chamber. Introducing it to a wider public while further advancing its critical development steps.

The meeting in Miami convened perspectives from across sectors and borders.
A true convergence of actors spanning the public, private, and civil sectors. Participation featured subnational leadership representing Amazonian states from Brazil, Peru, and Colombia. Additionally, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez also joined to celebrate the event with a City Proclamation commemorating the establishment of the Amazon Chamber in Miami.

The First Forum showcased the importance of the Chamber's theory of change - that through convening a wider audience of stakeholders, solutions can be supported and scaled for people, the Rainforest and the planet!
